These are a few of my favorite things…
So it’s Sunday again, and to help keep myself from stressing about my upcoming week, I’m adding few more things to my favorite things list
1.) Nightmare revisited
I’m a child of the 90′s, so of course I consider Jack and Sally to be one of the great tragic couples. Unfortunately, in the process of multiple moves I seem to have lost my DVD of nightmare. Unfortunately, B&N didn’t have a copy this morning, when I was craving some nightmare. BUT they did have this little gem, a revamped version of the soundtrack we all love, featuring, among others, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Amy Lee and the All American Rejects, a must for any nightmare fan (Manson’s version of this is Halloween makes me want to go to a haunted house, NOW)
2.) Tiny (pumpkin) Pie!!
My roommate is obsessed with these miniature fruit pies they sell at Walmart. There’s only one type of pie I even consider eating and that is pumpkin, I love pumpkin anything, so while on the search for Ricolas this morning, I couldn’t resist one, tiny, pumpkin, pie. It’ll be my reward for actually getting school work done today
3.) Earl Grey, hot.
As a child of the 90′s I also grew up watching Star Trek TNG, and thanks in large part to Capt. Jean-Luc Picard, love Earl Grey Tea. My mum’s friend introduced me to this line of tea (Harney & Sons) as a freshman, and there’s no turning back, I’m an addict. Also, I’m in love with this 1977 souvenir mug from Mariner’s Inn (no clue where that is, but it reminds me of Cape Ann, MA) courtesy of the salvation army
4.) Dracula
I love my British literature course. Not only are the majority of the assigned books interesting, but we are conveniently reading Dracula and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde this October, perfect for my Halloween mania
Well, should probably go get to work so I can have my tiny pie later. However I’ve figured out that the best way to motivate myself to blog is to attempt to do actual schoolwork, so you’ll probably hear from me again today!!
Xx
